De La Soul to Release Rare EP Featuring A Tribe Called Quest
De La Soul announced it would release the three-decade old "Clear Lake Auditorium" EP featuring Tribe Called Quest on March 7, 2025.
Aside from the EP release, De La Soul (minus founding member Trugoy the Dove, who died in 2023) announced that they will perform at Lincoln Center next week on Jan. 17. De La Soul is one of the most influential hip-hop groups of all time, and their albums finally hit streaming services in 2023 following years of legal troubles due to uncleared samples on their records. Back in November, the group denounced the autobiography High and Rising: A Book About De La Soul, threatening legal action against its author Marcus J. Moore.
