She said: 'I'm disappointed that rather than looking at the wider landscape the BBC chose to go for a headline-grabbing shock story, when the majority of their viewers are women over the age of 50 who could do with some good advice rather than further controversy around HRT.' Eight in ten women will experience menopausal symptoms including hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, difficulty sleeping, low mood or anxiety and problems with memory.
