Afrobeats star Davido is celebrating his reign as one of Nigeria’s leading pop acts with “Be There Still,” the latest single from his forthcoming album 5ive. “‘Funds’ is a celebration of the hustle and the journey,” Davido exclusively told Rolling Stone in a statement ahead of the track. Since the Grammys introduced a Best African Music Performance awards in 2023, Davido has been nominated both times, in 2023 for “Unavailable,” and last year for “Sensational” with Chris Brown.
