The Nigerian superstar Davido has stirred an online frenzy by announcing the limited edition vinyl of his album ‘5IVE.’ The musician posted a tweet announcing the release, showing a photo of the special-designed vinyl with artwork by legendary Nigerian artist Lemi Ghariokwu, and clearly, people had a LOT to say. In another tweet, another one who seemed just a bit serious, @AfeezAjiboye1, said, “Nigerians are hungry, share money….No be only verydark man una ho dey listen 👂.” Oof. So, whether one was there for the competition for the vinyl, the jokes, or just a demanding some Jollof rice, one other thing is surely beyond dispute from that moment the album was announced: Davido is someone with a gift of the gab.
