David Schulner Joins New Fox Drama ‘Memory Of A Killer’ As Co-Showrunner

New Amsterdam creator David Schulner has joined the creative team of the new Fox drama series Memory of a Killer as executive producer and showrunner.

He will serve as an executive producer on the project, which has a straight-to-series order, alongside Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, who wrote the script inspired by the 2003 Belgian film De Zaak Alzheimer, and Cathy Schulman. Memory of a Killer, which is eyed for a midseason launch, stars Patrick Dempsey as Angelo Ledda, a hitman leading a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret — he has developed early onset Alzheimer’s. Schulner is best known as the creator, executive producer and showrunner of the NBC medical drama New Amsterdam, which ran for five seasons and earned him a WGA Award nomination.
