David Nevins Exits As CEO Of Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company
David Nevins is departing as CEO of The North Road Company after less than a year.
Nevins acknowledged that The North Road, which has been focused largely on company acquisitions, including most recently Jason Hehir’s Little Room Films and a stake in Questlove & Black Thought’s Two One Five Entertainment, was not “a perfect strategic fit,” hinting a potential return to his roots as a TV producer and network executive. “I’m looking forward to pursuing other opportunities that will surely include making the kind of cutting-edge, quality, commercial television I love — as the industry continues to pivot I am incredibly excited about all the emerging creative possibilities. Longtime head of Showtime, Nevins was Chairman and CEO of Paramount Premium Group and Chief Creative Officer of Paramount+ Scripted Series, before leaving the company is fall 2022 and subsequently joining The North Road.
