David Lynch on His Memoir Room to Dream and Clues to His Films

Lynch’s two most straightforward films: The Elephant Man(1980) depicts, in lyrical and heartbreaking fashion, the story of Joseph Merrick, played by John Hurt, whose physical deformities earned him the titular nickname.
