David Letterman has come down firmly on the side of Taylor Swift and her budding romance with Travis Kelce in an Instagram video labeled 'Dave is Team Taylor.'

Taylor Swift, 34, has been the subject of online criticism since she began attending NFL games in September to support boyfriend Travis Kelce, 34. The former late night host called the relationship between the Grammy winner and the NFL star 'such a lovely thing,' and advised detractors to 'Shut up!'. 'I don’t understand how they are yelling at her when she is not in charge of the cameraman panning to her,' wrote one referring to the numerous cutaway shots shown on screen each time the Cruel Summer singer attends a game.
