David Hasselhoff's airport wheelchair photos sparked concern about his health as he prepares for knee replacement surgery

Hasselhoff, 72, was seen being pushed in a wheelchair on Monday, May 5, alongside airport attendants in both Cancun, Mexico, and upon his return to Los Angeles, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail. The wheelchair incident also came just two months after Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff died at age 62, bringing the Baywatch alum and his family back into the spotlight. Bach-Hasselhoff, who died by suicide in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 5, at age 62, shared a poignant post via Instagram in January to ring in the new year.
