Green is currently busy with the Ben Stiller movie, Nutcrackers, as well as the fourth season of the HBO comedy series The Righteous Gemstones. Universal and Blumhouse bought the Exorcist franchise rights for a trilogy from Morgan Creek back in July 2021 for an exorbitant $400M. However, things didn’t go as planned at the box office with the first movie, The Exorcist: The Believer opening to a soft $26.4M domestic, and grossing $65.5M U.S./Canada, $136.2M WW.
