David Chalian. a veteran political journalist, has been named CNN's Washington bureau chief
David Chalian, a veteran political journalist who has long helped put together CNN ‘s most important nights of election coverage, has been named the network’s Washington Bureau chief. He replaces Sam Feist, the longtime supervisor of CNN’s Washington operations, who exited for a top role at CSPAN. Chalian joined CNN in 2013 after holding roles as a vice president for video programming at Politico and Washington Bureau chief for Yahoo News.
