David Beckham will reportedly finally become a Sir when he is awarded a knighthood in the King’s Birthday Honours list next week, with wife Victoria to be known as Lady Beckham

The Manchester United legend and England hero will finally be honoured after years of public calls for him to receive the accolade, according to the Sun. Having celebrated his 50th birthday at the beginning of May, David has been a household name for decades and was widely expected to join the ranks of football's knighted elite.
