David Beckham Talks Prince William Friendship: ‘Always Been There’

David Beckham gushed about his relationship with the royal family and Prince William in a new video shared online

The former footballer, 49, visited Highgrove on Saturday, June 1, where he was named ambassador of The King’s Foundation, an educational charity that aims to put people at the center of designing their communities. The organization provides resources and support for young people in the U.K. between the ages of 11 and 30 to “develop essential life skills, get ready for work, and access job opportunities,” according to its website. After Queen Elizabeth’s death in September 2022, Beckham waited in line for more than 12 hours to see the royal’s coffin at Westminster Abbey in London.
