David Beckham Says He Had to Help Convince Victoria Beckham to Release Her Own Docuseries

David Beckham provides insight into what fans can expect from his wife Victoria Beckham's upcoming Netlfix docuseries.

“It took a minute to try and get her to agree with it,” David Beckham told Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria at the MIP London event, Variety reported. The untitled docuseries, directed by Nadia Hallgren, will take a peak behind the curtain of Victoria’s life, capturing moments with her family and confidantes, documenting her fashion label as the brand’s creative director, and featuring artifacts from her archive, according to Netflix. The series garnered both BAFTA and Emmy nods, became an instant hit, and famously featured a scene where David had to playfully beg Victoria to “be honest” about her affluent upbringing.
