David and Victoria Beckham 'to face year of disruption as neighbours plan grand renovation plans' at West London mansion
David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly set to face up to a year of disruption as their new neighbours have had their grand renovation plans approved by the local council.
However, the council wanted the Beckhams on board with the work and stated in their pre-planning advice document that they wouldn't give planning permission without the celeb couple's consent. The building work will include demolishing walls, rearranging rooms, new kitchens and bathrooms, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, solar panels on the roof - plus new doors and windows. The sportsman had voiced his concerns in an objection submitted to his local council which claims that the plans would spoil the uniqueness of the Beckham family home in Holland Park, west London.
