David Allen Loggins, GRAMMY-Nominated 'Please Come to Boston' Singer, Dead at 76
David Allen Loggins died on Wednesday while in hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.
David Allen Loggins, a GRAMMY-nominated singer and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee who is best known for his 1974 hit "Please Come to Boston," has died. He also formed one-half of the duet for the 1984 hit "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" alongside Anne Murray, which would go on to top the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. According to his obit, Loggins "holds the record for being the only unsigned artist to ever win a CMA award for his performance with Anne Murray in 1986 for their duet, 'Nobody Loves Me Like You Do.'"
