Dave Matthews Band Cover Talking Heads’ ‘Burning Down The House’ At Rock Hall Ceremony

Dave Matthews Band covered the Talking Heads' "Burning Down The House" and played their own hits during their Rock Hall induction performance.

Dave Matthews Band celebrated their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday, playing a quartet of their biggest songs (and one Talking Heads cover) as the night’s final inductees. The band started with “Ants Marching” before switching into a quick rendition of their iconic song “Crash Into Me,” followed by “So Much To Say” and “Too Much.” After giving their speech, the band reappeared onstage, finishing off the night with a quick cover of Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House” in lieu of the sort of all-star ensemble performance that has often finished off the evening. Other inductees recognized Saturday included Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool & the Gang, Peter Frampton, Cher, and Foreigner.
