The statement said, “We are sorry to inform you Dave Mason has a serious heart condition detected in a routine appointment that requires immediate attention. Almost a week ago, Mason had to cancel several shows in Phoenix and Las Vegas, expecting the Hall of Famer would be able to start the fall tour in Santa Barbara on Tuesday, September 24, at the Lobero Theatre, which has now been scrapped.
