Dave Hughes reveals his struggle with alcohol on I'm A Celebrity: 'I would wake up in the lock-up'
Funnyman Dave Hughes has spoken out about his past battles with alcohol.
The publication reports that in scenes from Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity episode, Dave revealed to his fellow campmates that despite 'loving' getting drunk, he has not touched a drop in more than three decades. Dave also told Daily Mail Australia in 2020 that his uncertainty over how his mind and body would react to alcohol after years of sobriety had kept him firmly on the wagon. To illustrate this point, he recalled a conversation he had years earlier with his wife Holly Ife, who is the mother of his three children, Tess, Sadie and Rafferty.
