Dave Grohl's mother Virginia's warning about rocker's love life reemerges after he admits to cheating on his wife and fathering secret love child
As fans reel from the news, an interview with Grohl's late mother Virginia has reemerged in which she admitted her fears for her son's love life.
The Foo Fighters frontman, 55, issued a public apology to his wife of 21 years, Jordyn Blum, and their three children as he stressed he is 'doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness'. Speaking to The Guardian in 2017, Virginia - who sadly died in 2022 - confessed she was more worried about how her son would fare with women than whether he'd be dragged into the pitfalls of a rock and roll lifestyle. The former teacher-turned-author spoke with fellow mothers of rock stars while researching a book and noted they 'secretly value unreported acts of generosity and kindness' more than the platinum discs – the 'commitments to family or community'.
