Dave Franco & Alison Brie Accused Of Copyright Infringement In ‘Together’ Suit

Dave Franco and Alison Brie are among the defendants in a 'Together' lawsuit accusing them of copyright infringement, Deadline has confirmed.

A spokesperson for WME called the lawsuit “frivolous and without merit, adding, “The facts in this case are clear and we plan to vigorously defend ourselves.” We’ve also reached out to Neon for comment. Phelan, a former New York assistant director and USC MFA graduate, made the film as his feature debut through the production company StudioFest, the sole plaintiff in the suit. Defendants lifted wholesale creative elements, including but not limited to, plot, themes, characters, dialogue, mood, setting, pace, and sequence of events.”
