Dave Erickson Re-Ups Overall Deal With MTVE Studios As ‘Mayor Of Kingstown’ Opens Season 4 Writers Room
MTV Entertainment Studios has closed an overall deal extension with Dave Erickson, writer, executive producer and showrunner on Mayor of Kingstown.
The drama, co-created/executive produced by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, has opened a Season 4 writers room in anticipation of a renewal, sources said. Under the new pact, Erickson will continue on Mayor Of Kingstown, which he joined at the start of Season 2, in addition to writing and executive producing new scripted series across the Paramount Global portfolio. He may also work on other existing MTVE Studios/101 Studios series from Taylor Sheridan, like Tulsa King.
