Dave Coulier's wife Melissa is opening up about her courageous husband's battle with cancer in a new interview.

Just days before he announced the diagnosis on his Full House podcast and then on TODAY, he revealed the news to a local Detroit reporter for WYXZ. The 65-year-old Full House star who returned to his hometown of Detroit some years ago revealed his non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis in November Marla told him that will be useful in the summer, 'like a little air conditioning on your head,' prompting Coulier to quip, 'But then you gotta make sure you put sunblock on.'
