Dave Chappelle's attacker sues Hollywood Bowl for negligent security and battery... two years after storming the stage and tackling the comedian

Isaiah Lee, the man who attacked Dave Chappelle on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in 2022, is, now, suing the outdoor amphitheater.

The lawsuit was filed exactly two years after Lee rushed the stage to attack the comedian because he was 'triggered' over Chappelle’s jokes about the LGBTQ community and homelessness. During the controversial special, he made one comment stating that 'gender is a fact,' prompting Netflix staff to protest and mass outrage on social media against some of his jokes. In the comedy special, he stated that he does not hate transgender people, and told a long anecdote about a trans woman comic, who he describes as a friend, who came to his defense in earlier entanglements with the community.
