Daryl Somers, 72, drops major hint about his future after more than five decades as a 'performer at heart'


Hey, Hey It's Saturday star Daryl Somers has hinted that he may take his iconic former show out on tour.

The TV legend, 72, was named Victorian of the Year at a Melbourne Town Hall ceremony on Monday and teased the brand new career direction. The TV legend paid tribute to Blackman at the service, where he stated the star may be preparing for a series of 'Hey Hey It's Heaven' alongside the show's late co-creator, Ernie Carroll, in the afterlife. A trademark application for 'Hey Hey It's Heaven' has been filed by Somers Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd, the Herald Sun reported on Saturday.
