EastEnders star Danny Dyer has spoken out about a possible return to Albert Square as Mick Carter, after initially turning down requests from the BBC soap's bosses
Nonetheless, despite viewers not witnessing his alter ego Mick Carter's watery demise, Danny Dyer has put those return rumours to rest: "Look, I take it as a compliment that people want me to go back. Portraying Freddie Jones, the self-established tech tycoon with the air of Lord Alan Sugar about him, Danny sports a quirky 1980s moustache and has unexpectedly turned into a heartthrob. In videos of the reception posted on social media, Danny can be heard encouraging the guests to chant "Bowen's On Fire - and he's married Dani Dyer" to the melody of pop star Gala's hit Freed from Desire.
