Danny DeVito remembered shooting Batman Returns with “goddess” Michelle Pfeiffer while speaking with Colin Farrell for Variety. “At first I was a little bit hesitant about doing the comic, but then I got into the fact that I’ve always been a big fan of Michelle Pfeiffer’s, and the Penguin obviously lusts after Catwoman. The series picks up one week after the events of The Batman and follows the villain as he claims his power as the Penguin in Gotham’s underworld by any means necessary.
