Danny Burstein, the Tony-winning actor of “Moulin Rouge” who has appeared in many, many other Broadway shows, has joined the upcoming revival of “ Gypsy.” He’ll play Herbie, a former agent-turned-manager, opposite Audra McDonald, who is returning to Broadway as the ultimate stage mom, Mama Rose. Considered one of the greatest musicals, “Gypsy” tells the story of an ambitious stage mom’s unflinching efforts to propel her two daughters into show business.
