Danish Feature Drama ‘The Food Club’ Set for Sequel, LevelK to Distribute Internationally (EXCLUSIVE)


Kirsten Olesen, Stina Ekblad and Kirsten Lehfeldt are set to reprise their roles in a sequel to Danish feature drama 'The Food Club.'

“The Food Club 2,” which started shooting on July 1, will be directed by Charlotte Sachs Bostrup (“The Cartel,” “Mom Squad”), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Iben Gylling (“Unit One”). Troels Lyby (“Summerdahl”), Rasmus Botoft (“The Legacy”) and Mia Lyhne (“Klown”) Judy Gringer (“The Factory Outing”) and singer Michael Falch also star. Now, it’s time for ‘The Food Club 2.’ This sequel moves beyond age as a central theme to explore deeper aspects of life for women in their 70s, highlighting their real-life ups and downs.
