At the 77th Annual Tony Awards, Radcliffe won his award for best performance by a featured actor in a musical for his performance in “ Merrily We Roll Along ” for his role as Charley Kringas, the lyricist and best friend of Franklin Shepard (played by Jonathan Groff). After winning the Tony, Radcliffe told reporters how the transition has been from finding success in stage acting following his long career playing Harry Potter.
