Daniel Radcliffe Says ‘Harry Potter’ TV Series ‘Very Wisely’ Wants to Be a ‘Clean Break’ From the Movies: ‘I Don’t Know If It Would Work’ Having Me in It


Daniel Radcliffe says the "Harry Potter" television series on Max should be a clean break from his film franchise.

Radcliffe famously headlined eight “Harry Potter” movies in the title role from 2001 to 2011. He told ComicBook last year that whatever the “Harry Potter” series ends up being, it should be a fresh start for the franchise. Discovery CEO David Zaslav announced earlier this year that 2026 is being targeted as the launch for the “Harry Potter” television series on Max.
