Daniel Craig Says Playing James Bond Was ‘Emotionally Difficult’ for His Family and It Was ‘Terrifying’ Being Directed by Spielberg: You Have to ‘S— or Get Off the Pot’


Daniel Craig said that playing James Bond was 'emotionally difficult' not only for him but for his family, though he 'loved every second.'

Daniel Craig reflected on his more than 30-year career during a conversation at the BFI in London on Monday night, including his time as James Bond. Pre-Bond, Craig was known for his role in Steven Spielberg ‘s Oscar-nominated “Munich” (2005) and had supporting turns in films like “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” (2001) and Sam Mendes’ “Road to Perdition” (2002). Next up for Craig is reprising the role of Detective Benoit Blanc in Rian Johnson’s third “Knives Out” film, “Wake Up Dead Man.”
