Dandelooo to Distribute Kids’ Animated Series ‘Under the Sofa’ Worldwide (EXCLUSIVE)
The 2D animated series, produced by Barcelona’s Teidees, will screen its first episode at MipJunior in October.
An official synopsis for the colorful series, which is aimed at kids 6-10, reads: “‘Under the Sofa’ is a comedy in which a group of lost objects such as Diver – a scuba diver figure and the only survivor of a squad of toy commandoes, Dusty the fluffball, Selfie – a polaroid photo, Chip – a cookie with a bit missing, Top – a cotton bud, Queen Penny and Beaver get a second chance as they live in hiding under a sofa. It was developed to offer a new take on recomposed and recycled goods and provide kids with a different perspective on the value of easily discarded objects. In development for several years now, “Under the Sofa” was first pitched at Cartoon Forum in 2016 before being added to the official selection at El Menu Primer in Barcelona.
