Dancing Queen IS the Dancing Queen! Classic tune tops list to be crowned Britain's favourite Abba track
The timeless tune was voted for by tens of thousands of Radio 2 listeners, beating The Winner Takes It All and Thank You For The Music to be crowned the nation's favourite Abba song.
Commemorating 50 years since the Swedish superstars won Eurovision with Waterloo, fans could pick up to five of their favourites from Abba's top 40 UK hits, as well as five other tracks selected by hosts Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Sara Cox. The poll comes just ahead of a new film about ABBA's rise to global stardom, which features never-before-seen footage of tense encounters between the iconic Swedish band. A new trailer of the upcoming documentary, which drops on BBC iPlayer on May 4, includes previously unseen clips of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad.
