Dancing On Ice star Vanessa Bauer heartbroken after tragic family loss
As Dancing On Ice returns to our screens tonight, professional skater Vanessa Bauer has opened up about her beloved father Marco's tragic death after a seven-year battle with cancer
But away from the sparkle of the ITV show, where she's partnered with Love Island's Chris Taylor, Vanessa has faced personal heartbreak. I'm now at a point where I believe I'm healed enough to help other young people and pass on the message that you can come out the other side of the grieving process and be able to live a happy life. Overwhelmed with grief she wrote about the pain she felt and promised to 'dream bigger, work harder and find happiness' in honour of his aspirations for her.
