Olympian and Dancing On Ice star Greg Rutherford has revealed that his son Rex, 7, underwent surgery to have his appendix removed after being rushed to hospital over the weekend
Greg, who shares Rex with his wife Susie Verrill, 35, kept his Instagram followers updated with several photos of his son in his hospital bed. Greg, who is also a doting dad to Milo, 10, and Daphne, three, informed his followers that while Rex was recuperating at home, he took his eldest and youngest out trampolining to get them out of the house. I've got huge guilt for not taking her in sooner - we're pretty experienced with croup and aside from once with Milo, it's always sorted itself out with cold air, drinks and keeping them calm."
