Dana Carvey Reflects on Son’s Death: ‘I’m Kind of on the Pain Train’

Dana Carvey returned to his podcast 'Fly on the Wall' and discussed dealing with the grief of his son's death.

Dex, 32, died from an accidental drug overdose, which Carvey and his wife Paula Zwagerman announced in a statement on Instagram. In the meantime, Spade has recorded episodes with special guests, including Dan Aykroyd, David Byrne, and Michael McKean. In 2022, Carvey and his sons released The Weird Place, a sci-fi comedy podcast-adventure produced by Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco.
