Dana Carvey Apologizes to Sharon Stone for ‘Offensive’ Skit on ‘SNL’

Dana Carvey apologized to Sharon Stone for 'Saturday Night Live' skits that made the actress take off her clothes.

Stone responded that she "was fine being the butt of the joke" during an appearance on the Fly on the Wall podcast Elsewhere in the interview, Stone opened up about her SNL monologue, which she described as “super scary.” She reflected on how protesters rushed the stage in Studio 8H right before the show was going live, leading the arrests of six people who were apparently upset about her work as an AIDS activist. “If you think the monologue is scary to begin with, try doing it as people are getting handcuffed in front of you,” Stone said, adding, “I honestly blacked out for half of the show.”
