Dana Carvey & David Spade’s ‘Fly On The Wall’ Expands Format After Renewing Audacy Deal
Dana Carvey and David Spade are expanding Fly on the Wall podcast to video after striking a multi-year contract extension with Audacy.
The pair have been hosting the show, which is ostensibly a history of Saturday Night Live told through the duo and interviews with other cast members, since January 2022. Their impressions will now be seen, not just heard, with the move to video in addition to audio, a trend that is taking over the podcast business over the last 12 months. For context, Fly on the Wall previously released episodes on Wednesdays with a guest and Superfly, which launched on Fridays in February 2024, has largely been guest-less with Carvey and Spade riffing on current events, viral social clips, pop culture moments, and audience submissions.
