Dan Wootton quits GB News after show breached Ofcom rules
TV presenter Dan Wootton has announced that he has quit GB News and will be setting up his own independent channel after Ofcom concluded that he had broken broadcasting rules
During an episode of Dan Wootton Tonight, actor-turned-politician Fox made a series of remarks about Ava Evans, the political correspondent for online news site Joe. "As such, we considered that Mr Fox's comments were degrading and demeaning both to Ms Evans and women generally and were clearly and unambiguously misogynistic." Dan has labelled Ofcom "communist" after they concluded that he had broken broadcasting rules (Image: GB News)In July last year, the GB News host had admitted on air that he had made "errors of judgement", but fiercely rebutted claims that he had engaged in criminal acts.
