Damson Idris, Anamaria Vartolomei to Star as Miles Davis and Juliette Greco in Mick Jagger-Produced ‘Miles & Juliette’
Damson Idris and Anamaria Vartolomei are set to star as Miles Davis and Juliette Greco in "Miles & Juliette," a Paris-set film by Bill Pohlad which Mick Jagger is producing.
Goodfellas will launch international sales for “Miles & Juliette” at the Cannes Film Market this month, while CAA Media Finance is handling North American rights. Pohlad will direct and produce under his River Road Entertainment banner, whose credits include “Brokeback Mountain” and “12 Years a Slave,” alongside Kim Roth (“Mudbound “). The high profile key crew also includes production designer Dan Weil (“American Made,” “The Bourne Identity”), with Grammy-winning artist Robert Glasper on board to compose and produce the film’s music, bringing his signature fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and soul.
