Damian Lewis makes rare appearance with his daughter Manon, 18, and son Gulliver, 17, on the red carpet at BAFTA TV Awards - four years after the death of their mother Helen McCrory

The actor, 54, is up for a supporting actor nod for his role as King Henry VIII in BBC's Wolf Hall - a mini-series that tells the story of Thomas Cromwell.

Based on Dame Hilary Mantel's novel of the same name, Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light picks up where the last series ended in the aftermath of the execution of Queen Anne Boleyn. Shortly after Helen's death, Damian wrote a heartbreaking tribute to his late wife in The Times where he revealed she wanted him to find love again - joking his children have said that their mother 'wanted daddy to have lots of girlfriends'. Richard Gadd who wrote and starred in the series about his own experiences of being stalked is up for Leading Actor, while his co-star Jessica Gunning is in the running for the Supporting Actress award.
