Dallas stars unrecognisable 46 years after hit show – Bobby and Lucy Ewing to Jenna Wade
The iconic American TV series Dallas revolutionised the soap opera genre with its gripping family drama and unforgettable characters including JR and Sue Ellen Ewing
One of the most iconic moments in television history occurred on March 21, 1980, when the character JR Ewing, portrayed by the late Larry Hagman, was shot twice by an unseen assailant. Last year, Dallas celebrated its 45th anniversary with stars Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Charlene Tilton, Audrey Landers, Steve Kanaly, Joan Van Ark, Sheree Wilson, and Cathy Podewell reuniting to reflect on the enduring legacy of the show. As well as her acting pursuits in films such as Welcome Home Christmas and Road Less Travelled, Charlene joined the cast of Dancing on Ice as a contestant in its seventh season, paired with American figure skater Matthew Gonzalez.
