Dallas Singer Jada Thomas Shot While Signing Autographs Following Performance

Singer Jada Thomas was shot in downtown Dallas over the weekend following a performance. Get the details.

Per NBC DFW, Thomas was signing autographs after the show at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters and wounded by gunfire from a person in the audience. “It was a packed house, people were in line getting autographs and we heard this shot,” The Black Academy of Arts and Letters founder Curtis King relayed to NBC DFW. An investigation is still ongoing and law enforcement didn’t make it clear if the assailant knew Thomas prior to the shooting.
