The 30-year-old actress - who recently admitted that former co-star Tom Cruise has given her a pair of shoes for every birthday since filming War Of The Worlds 19 years ago - donned a stylish monochrome look for the premiere of Hulu docuseries Mastermind: To Think Like A Killer in NYC. Dr. Ann Burgess, a specialist in the FBI 's Behavioral Science Unit who transformed how authorities look into serial murders, is at the center of the three episode docuseries; she posed with Fanning and director Abigail Fuller at the premiere during the 2024 Tribeca Festival With Dani Slaone serving as showrunner, the series focuses on how Dr. Burgess developed new modern serial-killer profiling that she coupled with a compassion for victims to help solve some of the most infamous true-crime cases such as Ted Bundy (pictured)
