Dak Prescott Claims He's Being Extorted for $100 Million in Lawsuit
NFL quarterback Dak Prescott alleged a woman accusing him of sexual assault is attempting to extort him for $100 million
Prescott, 30, filed a suit in Texas on Monday, March 11, in response to a letter he received earlier this year which threatened to go public with allegations of sexual assault. The accuser’s attorneys noted that she is “willing to forego pursuing criminal charges, along with disclosing this information to the public, in exchange for compensating her for the mental anguish she has suffered.” She is requesting $100 million in damages. Prescott is seeking $1 million in relief and plans to donate the money to the Joyful Heart Foundation, “whose vision is a world free of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, or another like-minded organization.”
