Daisy May Cooper's US break suffers a major blow as HBO show Rain Dogs is axed days after star gave birth to her third child

Daisy May Cooper's latest TV show Rain Dogs has been axed after just one series, it has been revealed.

The show starred Daisy as struggling single mum Costello Jones, who works in a strip club and was written by the British-Irish author Cash Carraway. Daisy's performance earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the 2024 Broadcasting Press Guild Awards while Cash was announced as a BAFTA Breakthrough talent for creating, writing, and executive producing the show. Daisy played single mother Costello, seen just minutes into the first episode being booted out of her flat by bailiffs and desperately trying to find somewhere for her and her ten-year-old daughter, Iris, to live.
