Daisy Edgar-Jones turns to teaching as she teams up with BAFTA to mentor teenagers pursuing careers in movies

Daisy Edgar-Jones is joining forces with EE and BAFTA as part of a new campaign to inspire the next generation of filmmakers.

Set The Stage gives teenagers the chance to write, direct and produce a short film which will premiere in 2026, under the guidance of a crew of BAFTA award-winning industry experts. 15 –17 year-olds interested in filmmaking can apply for a place in the crew to create this unique short film under the mentorship of experts across storytelling, production and direction including Normal People star Daisy. The project is also supported by Broadcaster and BAFTA Fellow, Baroness Dame Floella Benjamin, who advocates for youth opportunities and demonstrates how teenage curiosity can lead to fulfilling careers.
