Arizona dad Christopher Scholtes knowingly left his 2-year-old daughter in a hot car — but apparently lost track while distracted with his PlayStation. Parker’s heartbroken mother Erika Scholtes even said she’d told him before to stop leaving the children in the car, and was the one who ended up discovering her daughter’s body hours after she was left in it. The Pima County Medical Examiner revealed at the time the toddler’s body temperature had reached 108.9 in the punishing Arizona sun.
