Da’Vine Joy Randolph Thanks All Of the Beautiful People Who Taught Her To ‘Just Be Myself’ After Oscar Win


Da'Vine Joy Randolph took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in The Holdovers.

The historic night was capped off by her being presented the Oscar by past winners Mary Steenburgen, Lupita Nyong’o, Jamie Lee Curtis, Regina King and Rita Moreno. Randolph won the award beating out Emily Blunt in Oppenheimer, Jodie Foster in Nyad, America Ferrara in Barbie and Danielle Brooks in The Color Purple. The newly minted Oscar winner has been the front-runner taking home a number of critic circles awards and other accolades including the Golden Globe and SAG trophies for best supporting actress.
